Claire's Birthday

 We went to ALADDIN for Claire's birthday and had a great time!  The girls sat nicely and paid close attention to the performance.  Madeline has been Jasmine, Jazzy or Jazz  all week.  Matt is Aladdin, Dane is the sultan and I am the genie.  During lunch Maddie said, "Why is my father throwing food?" 

 Claire is hilarious!  As soon as a camera comes out, she makes the silliest faces!

Fridays in the Park

We enjoyed Fridays in the park this summer. Hard to believe that the final one was last week.  Another sign that the end of summer is just around the corner.

Summer Reading Program

The Park Ridge Library has a summer reading program that Madeline is all about! She loves reading, so she having fun with it.  Once she gets 100 min., she gets one sticker and one ticket.  We usually check in 200 min. because she moves so fast! Her favorite part is picking out stickers to put on her document.  She now has 3 princesses, 3 unicorns, 1 frog and 1 carriage.  She had her mind made up when we went the last time...

Maddie's First Job

Our neighbors asked Maddie to watch their fish while they were on vacation.  Maddie was so excited to get the guppies.  She tells them they are cute, kisses the fish tank, greets them each morning and tells them goodnight.  She is doing a great job fish sitting! :)
