Emmie at 2 1/2 is a riot. She's as strong willed as ever and has no interest in potty training. She loves to dress up and she loves all of the Disney Princesses. She likes to go to the library and pick out Sophia and princess books. She loves to sing and dance. She can also play well by herself and loves to play with little figurines and dolls. She still has a strong liking for Frozen and adores her baby Abby. She's a rock star on her scooter and she loves to play outside. She's not so shy and will pretty much do any challenge her brother, sister and cousins put her up to. They think it's pretty funny to have her yell "I love cookies" when we are in a public place. Emmie's yell is something - that girl is loud! She isn't loving naps these days, but is more likely to nap when her brother and sister aren't at home. She doesn't want to miss out! She also loves to ask if I fed the fish. She's the only kid that doesn't mind getting her fingers stinky from the food. She loves to give hugs and hugs always come with a kiss. She's a lot of fun and we love her so much!
Dane at 5 1/2 is a joy. He's a very sweet boy who and he's learning to control his frustrations. Dane has become a pretty good sport and he loves to play basketball, baseball and soccer. He also likes to do puzzles, play with his sports guys and draw sporty things. He has become a very good reader and it's amazing how he just picked it up. He also has a talent for knowing which number players are on various sports teams. He knew the entire Purdue B-ball team and quickly picks up numbers of other players that he watches and likes. He loves playing with his sisters and his cousins and has also been very good at making new friends. I know Dane is super ready for Kindergarten and I know he will love it after the first few days! He is still a bit slow to warm up to new situations and needs a good nudge to join in. I love Dane's sweetness and it's been so awesome seeing him mature. Love that boy!
