Thanksgiving Day!

We had an easy going Thanksgiving Day. I finally got to meet Baby Allie and loved meeting her. My mom, dad and Jill came over after visiting Baby Allie. There were no restaurants open, so we cooked up some Turkey Chili and Pumpkin Pie...don't think many other people can say they ate that on Thanksgiving!!! We had fun - Maddie, Claire and Grammie kept us all entertained!

We had some sweet potatoes at home, so Maddie and I mashed them.

Proud Aunt and Uncle!

She is so so sweet, little and cute! Just precious!

Thanksgiving Dinner

We had a delish dinner with the family on Sunday the 21st. (We knew the Newton's would be in the hospital with baby #2 on Thanksgiving.) Thanks mom for all of your hard work preparing the food!

Kokomo

We had a great time with everybody the past two weekends. It was wonderful getting to know sweet Ava. It was a riot seeing Addison and Madeline play together and just see how crazy things can be! (In a good way most of the time ;) !!) We had such a great time and loved being with everyone!
The girls had so much dressing up in all the fun clothes g-ma got for them. They also had fun in their closet!

Campfire!!!

Matt kept saying that his fingers were so hot making s'mores, so he found another way to do it. But why doesn't Joe seem to be bothered?
We had some excited s'mores eaters!

Grandpa took care of Dane

Purdue Rain or Shine!

The sun was shining in Kokomo, but it started raining as we pulled onto campus!
Kristin's Kappa Girls...the tailgate moved to the stage so we could stay dry...a first!

Grandma duty!!!
Dane's 1st and far from last tailgate!

Silly Daddy...walking without knees...

Dane at 1 Month!

Our little guy has really been a joy! He is a very good baby and he is getting so big! He has been sharing smiles and cute noises with us. He isn't sleeping through the night, but we can't wait until the day that he does! He has great neck control and doesn't mind tummy time too much.

Weight - 10 lbs. 7 oz. 75th%

Length - 23" 90th%

Head - 38 - 50th%

KokoJOE is fun!

Uncle Joe took the girls on a walk to get some fresh air. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet inside!

Hiding from Uncle Joe (the bear in the bear hunt game the dads were playing)

Uncle Joe made a cool fort...oh what fun!

"Grandpa's Farm"

What one girl does, the other is sure to do as well! Grandpa found this farm and has taken Madeline there a few times. This time the rest of us came too! Addison and Madelne had fun feeding the horses apples and the goats grass. We brought carrots, but the horses did not touch them.

Ava's Joyful Day!

The beautiful, Baptised Girl!

Ava was Baptised while we were in Kokomo and it was awesome to be there to see it. Ava was as good as could be and was full of smiles the entire service. The Pastor even said, "I think she likes this!"

We took some pics when we got back to the house and had a nice meal to celebrate.
Addison and Madeline are obsessed with checking the "special prize" bowl. G-ma and G-pa fill it up usually at night, but that doesn't stop them from checking it all day long over and over. They got a lot of fun things - thanks G-ma and G-pa!
Taking care of the young ones! Such good big sisters!
Wow how a family can grow in just over 3 years!

Needing to get out some energy after the service.

VERY Special Visitors!!!

While eating dinner it got very quiet so we knew something was up. This is what we found...the 2 big girls in the baby doll crib. How it didn't break....???
Showing that she can fit in small places!
Fun dressing up with her cousins!
Madeline got a very fun and fancy early B-day gift and she loves it! THANKS Cesta Fam!!!

Addison helping Mads open her gift!
So :) together!!!

Mads couldn't wait to see them!! We'd been talking about the visit for so long.
