Joy Like A Fountain

The kids were to sing at church and unfortunately, Dane came down with a croupy cough again.  Maddie did a great job along with her cousins!

Emerson is 3 Months Old!

This little girl is growing up too fast!  She rolled over for the first time on 1/17/14...three months to the day!  She wasn't really happy about it when she ended up on her stomach.  She loves to be held and also enjoys car rides.  She is busy transporting Maddie and Dane to all of their activities and doesn't seem to mind.  She isn't sleeping through the night yet.  She often wakes up around 1 and again at 3.  She goes right back to sleep as soon as she is done feeding.  She has become a lot more vocal the past few weeks and is happy laying on the rug where she can kick and be active.  She is now able to hold her head up with ease for long periods of time.  She still enjoys bath time in the "sink bath".  She is such a love bug whom we all adore!

December Wrap Up

Santa came to Grace Preschool.  Maddie and Dane were excited, Emerson....not so much!

Grandpa and Papo - the December birthday boys!

We took the train and headed downtown to see the window displays.  We had dinner at Micheal Jordan's Steakhouse.  The kids were given basketballs which made them very excited!  Emerson did well on her first train ride!

LETTERS

Claire and Allie's aunt Lyssie makes the cutest letters.  We were so excited when Emerson received them as a gift from the Colorado Newton Family.  Maddie wanted to help hang them and she was a great helper.  She then wanted a picture with her name too.

New Gifts!

Maddie LOVES her new AG's (and her old ones too)!  She also got a really cool kitty from the Newton's that hangs out with the girls.

Dane and his sports gear.  Gotta love the mess going on behind Dane.  It's totally acceptable Christmas morning....well the day after Christmas! ;)
Maddie's new kitty, Daisy.  She is wearning AG clothes.

Christmas Day

We were surprised that our kids slept until 7 on Christmas morning. As usual, they ran into our room (which they do every morning) and were super excited. We all went downstairs together to see if Santa came. Luckily, he did!  They opened their gifts really quickly and started playing with all of their new gifts!  Some of their favorites were:
Dane - Mitt, Bulls jersey, Marble game, blue digital clock
Maddie - pink digital clock (she sleeps with it still), AG clothes, Anna Barbie, Hello Kitty Stuff

We played until it was time to get ready for Grammie and Papo's house.  The cousins were excited to celebrate together!

Grammie had a special chocolate surprise for the kids!  Dane wore his eye black all day once again! :)

 Cousin popcorn party!
Emmie's first Christmas!  A pic with newly engaged cousin, Stephanie and Em's aunts.
Great Grandma held Emerson for a while.  Dane kept coming to give her love.  He often comes around just to tell Emerson how much he loves her.  He usually gives her a kiss on the head before he runs off to play.
My baby's 1st Christmas.  I am trying to savor each moment with her!
Matching PJ's...well, kinda! :)
The kids wanted to feed the animal friends on Christmas morning.

Christmas Eve

We were just getting over (or not really quite over) being sick.  The kids were set to sing at "Claire's Church," but during practice, Dane got hit in the head accidentally with some bells. The incident coupled with the fact that he was tired and getting over the sickness, he was done.  Maddie did a great job during the service and Dane headed home early with Matt.  Everyone came over for Grammie's delicious dinner and the girls played cards.  Before heading to bed the kids put out carrots and cookies and looked out the window to see Santa.  You won't believe it, but Maddie saw him - so cool!!  Emmie was a good little girl on her first Christmas Eve. :)

Christmas Videos

Christmas Photo Shoot

We took these pictures in November to beat the rush.  Emerson was only 4 weeks in these pictures!
