Easter

Both kids loved decorating the eggs this year.
On your marks, get set, GO!  Maddie LOVED it, Dane....well not so much....

There was also a petting zoo!  We then headed to grammie and papo's house for a delicious Easter lunch.  What a great day!

Dane at 2 1/2

Dane is a very active, sports loving, happy little guy!  He loves playing basketball and all things that involve a ball.  He likes to pick out his clothes and would wear a jersey about everyday if he could.  His other favorite clothing articles have footballs or basketballs on them. He isn't so fond of jeans and if I put them on him, he will ask, "Are we going to church today?"  He also loves books, music, and has gotten into playing games on the IPad.  He knows how to use it better than I do.  He plays the games sitting at daddy's desk in the office - it's quite cute!  He is a pretty good listener most of the time - crossing my fingers that he stays that way.  He is very self sufficient and wants to do everything on his own.  He has been using the potty at night and if he goes during the day, it is usually just once if that.  He loves his sister and wants to wrestle much more than she does.  He likes to do what she does and he picks up on everything.  The two of them love singing songs together in the car.  They also crack each other up and have fun doing so.  He loves being outside, playing on his scooter, bike, swing-set  etc.  He loves his daddy and often asks if daddy can put him to bed.  (He also talks about his grandpa's all of the time!)  When we do put him to bed, he talks to himself for a good 10-20 min. before he falls asleep.  He is pretty funny and usually recaps things that he did during the day.  He is starting to resist naps more, so I am a bit nervous I may have some nap time struggles coming my way this summer.  We adore the way that Dane runs into our room every morning with a big smile on his face.  He is a fun-loving 2 1/2 year old boy and we adore him so very much.
