4th of July Weekend!!!

It's always one of our favorite weekends of the year.  There is never a shortage of things to do,  Of course it needs to start with a patriotic breakfast.

 Thankful for the wonderful country we live in and thankful to all who serve.

 We headed to Santa's Village on the 3rd.  Maddie liked the thrills and Dane and Emmie stuck together!

 We headed to the beach on the 5th!  Perfect day for it!

 Ice Cream at lickedy split in Edgewater - the best frozen custard,  It was melting in record speed though and we had to lick like crazy! :)  It certainly got a bit messy.

What a crazy month!  Maddie and Claire finished up kindergarten.  How awesome that they spent a year together in the same classroom.  They both had an awesome kindergarten experience with a super teacher whom they adored.

It was a chilly last day of school.  At least the popsicles didn't melt quickly!

We attended camp in Michigan and will be heading back again next year.  Maddie loved Happy Heart City and can't wait to go back.  If only Dane had the same attitude! I have a feeling he will grow to love it more each year.

Hearts for Happy Heart City.  Maddie wanted to take a picture with EVERYTHING!  She loved it there and loved the people that we met.  She especially bonded with our amazing family assistant, Allie.

We were home in time to celebrate the amazing fathers in our life!

Maddie and Dane attended Edison Park "Gods Kids Sing" and were inspired to create their own shows.

We had a fun trip to Kokomo despite all of the rain!  There was water everywhere and we couldn't even get back to the beach!  Dane attended his first Kokomo Jack Rabbits game and had a great time. The Jacks won!

Awesome gifts from Denmark!  Super cool!

Neighbors! Lots of kiddos!  Uncle Billy got to come to Chicago for a little visit.  We all had so much fun with him!

Gods Kids Sing Performance.  We were blown away!  Mr. Matt is amazing...really amazing!!!
