What a Walk!

It rained a lot on Sunday, so when it stopped, we went for a walk! We didn't realize how warm it was and Maddie was a bit overdressed! So, we unbuttoned her snaps and she was so much happier being held and feeling the fresh air on her skin.

It was so nice out on Friday, so we decided to hang out on the front porch and wait for daddy to get home. We went over to him in the driveway and Maddie went along for a ride up to the garage.

We had another fun weekend! Great Grandma Mueller came up and we went to dinner with her on Friday night. We then went to Wrigleyville to meet up with some friends (Maddie's 1st experience in Wrigley madness!), and Maddie got some time with her aunt Laura and auntie Jill. On Saturday night, Maddie was picked up by Grandma and Grandpa Welke and they stayed to play with her on Sunday. She isn't loved too much!!!

Easter Fun!

We had a wonderful Easter! We went to church at Grace with the family. Madeline was the youngest person in the congregation! She only had one little solo - she had to make herself known! We then headed to Grammy Sue's house for our Easter feast! We looked at pictures and then it was time for all of us to eat. Maddie enjoyed rice cereal and the rest of us enjoyed ham, ribs, salad, potatoes, broccoli and more sweets than any of us needed! Then it was time for a Maddie nap and she played with Auntie Jill and the pugs. She had more rice cereal before heading to bed. What a fun first Easter!

We introduced Madeline to rice cereal on Sunday and she did GREAT! She took it well - we think she was really ready for "real" food!

A Quick Trip Downstate

Madeline' s 1st Fish Fry! Yummy! It was a bit chilly inside!

We took a quick trip to St. Louis on Friday and Saturday to check in with Maddie's Great Grandparents. She did great with the drive and being in a new place. Notice how she holds her toys while she sleeps in the car!

4 Months Old!

We were blessed with Miss Maddie 4 months ago!

Oh how time flies! We went to the doctor and Madeline did great with her shots. Here are her measurements:

Weight - 13lbs 8 oz. 50%

Length - 25" 95%

Head - 40 cm 25%

She is rolling over and interacting so much! She loves reaching for things and that includes hair and necklaces! Her giggles are too cute and we love to hear her laugh.

We will be introducing her to rice cereal on Sunday, so there will be lots of pics and video to post...stay tuned!
