10 Week Pictures

Poor Maddie. Something was bothering her and she was crying so hard. This is her look of despair. I felt so bad for her!

Madeline slept in her crib for the first time on Sunday night! She woke up at 3:00 a.m. both Sunday night and Monday night. She usually sleeps through the night - I think she is going through a growth spurt and has been waking up hungry! I have spent a lot of time in the feeding chair today!

We were in Kokomo to pay our final respects to Brent Graber. He was hit by a car in January while riding his bike. He passed away early last week. Please keep the Graber family in your thoughts and prayers. We will be a helmet wearing bike riding family from here on out.

Margit watched Madeline on Saturday. It was the first time that her babysitter wasn't a Mueller or Welke! Maddie did great!

Madeline's 1st Sickness

Madeline just wasn't herself over the past couple of days. She had an episode on Saturday that left her drenched in her own spit up. Unfortunately, this also occurred 2x on the flight home...all over her daddy. This kept on through Tuesday morning. Needless to say, we were very concerned about her. She went to the doctor and it turns out that Maddie lost 8 oz. since her visit over a week ago. She had an ultrasound to make sure that the valve in her stomach was working correctly. The ultrasound tech. had me worried and told me that things didn't look very positive on his end. When I met with the doctor, she told me that everything looked OK and she just had a stomach virus. We were VERY relieved. She should be herself again soon!

We were soooo excited to get outside - it's been too long! Saturday was beautiful and we walked all around Park Ridge. Turns out that Maddie's first walk was a long one... 1 1/2 hours!
