When the photographer came in to drop off our picture CD, she took some pics with Maddie too. Dane was getting his circ., so we couldn't get a family photo, but that's ok.

BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY!

We got to the hospital at 6 am on 10/5 and he was born at noon! The entire process went so fast and it was so much easier this time around. Matt went down to eat lunch right after the epidural was put in. I ended up having to call him to tell him to get back into the room because I was ready to push! I went from a 3 to ready to go very quickly! I only had to go through quite painful contractions for like 45 min. We were told to expect a 6 lb baby (which I kinda doubted all along), so as the doctor said with a smile, there is clearly something wrong with our ultrasound machine! We were super surprised when Matt saw and I heard, "It's a boy!!" It was a most amazing feeling and the entire process was incredible. He has light hair and he is so precious. He does remind me of Maddie as a newborn at times and then at other times, he doesn't! He is really sleepy and has not cried much at all. Words can't express how blessed we feel to be a family of four!

Still On Baby Watch!

We went to the doctor yesterday and found out that there was just a bit more progress since the last Saturday appointment. If the baby isn't here by Monday, I will go in that morning for an ultra sound, non stress test and regular appt. to make sure all is well. It's funny because it seemed closer last Saturday then it does today! Have you ever heard of the second baby being born later than the first?!!! I HAVEN'T!!! Unless this baby comes soon, it will be! I had contractions with Madeline 2 days after the due date and she was born 3 days after the due date. This baby was due yesterday so time will tell! In the meantime, we have been taking tons of walks! Fortunately the weather is beautiful and we have taken advantage of that. The contractions are still strongest at night and it's been a while since I have had a good night sleep. (The same goes for Matt who wakes up when I do!) I finished working on Wednesday, so it's been awesome getting to spend time with Maddie before this baby comes. She is just so sweet right now and tells the baby to come soon!

Last Post Before Baby?!!?!??!

We have been talking about getting Maddie's big girl bed ready. We don't want her to feel kicked out of her crib and want to get her a little more privacy. In her new room, she shouldn't hear the baby crying from downstairs, which isn't the case with where she is sleeping now. So, we went shopping and picked out some bedding that made her very excited. Today I picked up a little table and rug that she likes and made a big deal about getting her big girl room ready. We weren't sure how she would do and did not want to push it on her. Her first nap did not go so well. After an hour, I put her back in her crib and told her that we could try the big girl bed again tonight. She cried that she wanted the big girl bed, which was a good sign! Tonight we attempted again and she did awesome!!! She just cried for a little bit and then she was out! We will see how it goes from here on out!

We went to the fall fest at our favorite farm, Wagner Farm! Maddie got to meet up with some pals and we had a great time. It was a bit chilly and definitely felt like fall!

Madeline and Matt came to my last doctor's appointment. We thought it would be good for Maddie to hear the heartbeat and come with to check on the baby. We found out that I am 50% effaced, the head is low and 1-2 cm. The doctor doesn't think I will make it to Thurday, but you never know. I have been having much movement and a lot of contractions. We are pretty much ready to go and CAN'T WAIT to meet the precious little life growing inside of me!

Madeline LOVES Tinkerbell and her pom pon shoes. I love how Mads says "Tinkerbell,"which is why I was taping. As you can see, when she found her, she we noticed that we have a missing shoe. We spent all morning looking with no luck. We really hope we can find her shoe - Madeline hasn't forgotton! Matt thought we could just take off the one shoe and then she wouldn't notice. NOT A CHANCE!

Good news! We took the cushions off the couch and found the shoe! Madeline was SO excited!!!

A birthday family photo! September is full of family birthdays! Aunt Tami and Uncle BC also have September B-days. Happy Birthday you two!!! Will baby #2 be a September baby too? As long as it's not late, it will be!

Somersault...So Close!

Madeline enjoys attempting the somersault. She has been successful a couple of times, but usually she just ends up with a "so close"....which makes us laugh. She is also all about making her dolls do somersaults.

Daddy wanted to Go Golfing...

...so we decided to head to the mini golf course! Don't think that it helped Matt's golf itch, but we did have fun! Madeline loved picking up our golf balls and handing them to us. We decided on the first hole that keeping score wouldn't be possible! Madeline picked the blue ball...is that a sign?!!! She was funny because she made sure that mommy used the yellow one, daddy the green and Maddie the blue.

Saturday Sundae Hoedown!

McKenna, Gavin, Aubriana and Claire joined Madeline in the fun. Wish we had a group picture...easier said than done!

We headed to Wagner Farm once again this past weekend! They had a special event with live music, square dancing, ice cream and hay rides. Madeline also had to head inside to do her faves - collect eggs in the basket and milk the cow.

37 Week Update

Time is flying on by! I had a non-stress test last week and all was well. The baby had a fairly steady heartrate of 130. I am contracting quite a bit these days! I am also getting bigger by the minute!

Farm and Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day Weekend in Kokomo! Madeline LOVES spending time with grandpa and grandma. Madeline had a special friend come and visit on Saturday - what fun!
