Parade

It was the first time we weren't able to watch the parade as a family as Maddie and Matt were in it this year!  She was very excited, but bummed that she didn't get tons of candy.  Dane was quick to offer some to his sister.  He can be such a sweet brother.

Maddie's 1st Communion

Maddie expressed interest in taking communion a while ago, and I recently felt like she was ready.  She met with Pastor C to help understand and prepare for her first communion.  She had many special people and all of her grandparents there to share in this meaningful day!

Back Home NOLA breakfast

We had an amazing time in New Orleans.  We brought back some beignet mix for the kids as we enjoyed Cafe DuMonde three times over our 5 day trip! :)  The kids didn't like them hot, but liked them once they cooled off.

Final Day of Nature Preschool

 Dane had the biggest smile when his name was called and he was presented with his certificate.

He loved observing the tadpoles the week prior and talked about them all week.  He was so excited to show them to me!

 Emmie and Charlie had some moments during Dane's final nature hike.  Oh and yes, Dane got himself dressed as usual.

Dane's Drawings

Dane has recently had more interest in drawing and writing.  He loves to make sports pictures and signs.  He loves Purdue and has been drawing courts, fields, jersey's and balls.  He makes sports pictures for his dad and heart pictures for me!

Skating

 Maddie and Dane are naturals on the ice! It has been fun watching them progress!
