Dane 18 Months

Dane is such a happy, talkative, fun, sport ball loving little guy!  He can pretty much communicate all of his wants and needs by telling us.  He ADORES basketball.  He turns everything into a basketball game and points out basketball hoops on every walk and when we are driving in the car.  Maddie and Dane are buddies and they are playing together more and more.  She isn't super fond of him having an opinion, but we like it!  He loves books and being read to.  His favorite books involve ELMO or PEEKABOO.  He loves ELMO, just like his sister.  He is a good eater, but throws his food as soon as he is full.  He would drink milk all day long and skip the food if we'd let him.  He also loves to sing and his favorite song is "A,B,C's."  He is fearless and loves running, jumping, all boy things.  He also loves to cuddle. :)  He is the best sleeper and doesn't protest when you put him down for a nap or for the night.  He is just the best little guy and we love him so much.

New House

 Dane loves his new bathroom and the kids love the swing set.  I have so many swing set memories from my childhood and I have a feeling Dane and Maddie will too!

Old House

We were sad to say good bye to our old house.  We have so many wonderful memories and we really enjoyed our 8 years spent there.  It was so hard to leave our next door neighbors - they are the BEST. We miss them and wish we could move them next door! 

Easter

We drove to St. Louis on Saturday and spent Easter Sunday with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.  Maddie left a note at our house letting the Easter Bunny know where she was.  Phew...he found the right house!

Easter Weekend

On Saturday we attended the Easter Egg Hunt at the "Church on the Corner."  That is what we've called that church since we were kids.  It was huge!  Tons of people, tons of eggs, and tons of fun.  The older girls really got into it!

Good Friday

We went to a neat service on Good Friday and then out to lunch.  It was a super nice day!

Dane's 1st Haircut

Dane was in need of a hair cut...obvious if you looked at the spring break pictures!  He LOVES sports, so we thought it was only appropriate that his first hair cut be at Sport Clips! :)

Maddie's Style

Maddie loves getting herself dressed and ready.  Sometimes she matches and sometimes...well the picture speaks for itself.

Daddy's Birthday

 We had a fun time on St. Patty's day for Matt's birthday.  Maddie LOVES when someone special to her has a birthday.  She ran in first thing in the morning and excitedly said, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!"  It was super sweet.

Grandma Welke's Birthday

 What a fun time we had at G-ma's surprise party for her 60th Birthday.  Grandpa pulled it off big time!  The following night, Maddie and Addie got to go to a play with g-ma and g-pa.  Maddie still talks about it!

The kids love going "on stage" to be presented at g-ma and g-pa's house.
