Laurie Berkner Concert

We had a blast at Ravina with the kids.  We had been talking about the concert all summer long and the kids couldn't wait! It was a hot day, but we were able to find some shade and it was great.  The kids danced, sang and acted out songs for the hour long concert.  We definitely hope to go again next year!

Louisville

We had a great trip to Louisville to see the KY family.  There was so much to do and the southern hospitality was amazing! :)  We didn't go hungry, that is for sure!

A Wonderful Summer Day...

We all traveled downtown and dropped Matt off at work, then to the zoo with the kiddos.  We spent the morning with the animals and then back to the office for lunch with daddy. The kids and I took the train home.  It was a beautiful day and one of my favorites from the summer.  The weather was perfect, the kids were great and it was just so nice!

Wedding

We don't get to dress like this everyday, so I had to include this one...

We had a great time and enjoyed learning some new dances! :)

Cabo

We LOVED Cabo!

We had an absolute blast and it was the perfect vacation.  Oh how we miss it!!!! A HUGE thank you to the Newton's for inviting us once again! :)

 Matt took the girls for a surprise - braids!  They were so good and excited about their special secret surprise!

Maddie loved the water.  She went from not wanting to put her head under the water to swimming underwater like crazy.  She loved it!

California

We traveled to Palm Springs and stayed in a really neat place. Unfortunately, my camera stayed packed for the first couple of days.  It was very hot, but fortunately, there was a nice pool to cool off (well kind of) in.  Grandpa and Grandma Welke had their hands full with 5 kids!

 The kiddos all dressed and ready for the wedding.  Aunt Kristin got the girls darling dresses and shoes that Maddie LOVED!!  Thank you!!!

 Dane LOVED Nico and unfortunately can't stay away and got him sick again!!! The poor boys had croup last time we were together and Dane had it again this trip. :(

 The wedding was beautiful...what a setting!!

 The kids LOVED the lemonade and water.  Every time I turned away, this is how I found Dane.  They had the best lavender lemonade!

 Someone wants a drink!  This cracked me up!

 Maddie got a kiddie cocktail and was in heaven!

 They loved dancing and we had a blast.  Dane and Ava headed home with the grandparents early, but Mads and Adds made it the entire night.

 After the wedding, we headed back to the Cesta's for a bit.  Who is that hiding under Uncle Joe's football gear?

 Then back to the Midwest!  Dane and Ava pretending to swim (this was their favorite game to play).  Dane let Ava borrow a swimsuit! :)

 We didn't have a lot of time, but packed in the farm, a BBQ and the zoo before we headed to Mexico.

4th of July

We had a really nice time in Michigan.  We enjoyed going out on the boat, swimming in the lake and going on an adventure walk.  As for the fireworks, the kids freaked out!  The dads put on a firework display and the noise was a bit too loud for our little ones.

 The kids ran inside and shut the door to the back bedroom. Tbhis is what I found when I went in after them...

The smoke bombs and sparklers were a hit at least!
