Cali Pictures

We had such a wonderful time in California for Spring Break.  Madeline was a bit of a hyper Piper on the flight there.  We flew Jet Blue, so we thought the TV would hold her attention - WRONG!  I brought a backpack full of things to do, but Maddie kept asking,"What else?"  She also spent some time going up and down the aisles.  She then decided she wanted to do somersaults off of her chair.  We were quite happy when we landed!
Of course Pink Bunny had to come along!  The first thing we did when we got home was wash her!

On Tuesday, we went to Disney Land!!!  It was a beautiful day and we loved every second of it!  We met Aunt Tami and Uncle Billy there.  Aunt Tami had bags of surprises for the kids.  Mads, Adds and Ava were Snow White and Dane got some super cute and comfy Mickey gear!  Maddie and Addie then did a costume change to turn into Rapunzel.  Thanks Aunt Tami!!

We watched a show and the girls were mesmerized!  Snow White blew the girls a kiss from the stage when she saw them. It was sweet!

Mads was a bit apprehensive when it was time to talk to the princesses.  Addison was all about them, but Maddie just wasn't so sure. I wasn't sure how she would be...but I can't say I was surprised at her reaction.  I guess her daddy was the same way at her age!

Aunt Tami helped convince Maddie to get closer to Cinderella!

It was very crowded on our Disney Land day, so we didn't do a ton, but it was perfect.  We went on "It's A Small World" and the girls loved it.  Maddie was pointing out things that she saw on the ride.

Aunt Tami and Dane waited for us on top of the bridge at "It's A Small World."
Maddie wasn't quite as afraid of Minnie as she was the princesses.  However, looking at the pictures, she wasn't exactly comfortable.  Minnie gave the girls kisses on their cheeks!

Ava and Dane's first trip to Disney together!
Dane was so good!  He just watches and takes it all in.  We love our little guy!
Our attempt at a family photo!
Aunt Tami took the girls into a shop on our way out.  She let them pick out 2 things and Maddie picked 2 dolls - a Tinkerbell doll and a Cinderella/Belle doll.  Addison picked a doll and suckers.  Addison needs to teach Madeline not to pick two big gifts!  Thanks Aunt Tami!  Madeline really loves her new dolls and has been bringing them everywhere with her.  She also got a beautiful Cinderella nightgown from Aunt Kristin that she just loves!

The girls got some new dance attire and were doing ballet.  Addison even taught Madeline her signature move!  They are just so sweet together and play so well.  The first thing Madeline asked for when she would wake up was Addison.  They spent a lot of time in their princess dresses.   Madeline is now in them a lot more since we've been home.

They had tea parties a couple of days, made cookies, went on Easter egg hunts, read books, played hide and go seek and just had so much fun!!!
All of this playing can make for a tired little girl!  SO sweet that Addison gave Maddie her bed for the week.  It was very comfy and Madeline loved all of her special friends on her bed!
We got to see Mimi a bunch and we loved it!  She cooked us a delish dinner and dessert.  She is so sweet and so much fun to be with.  We miss you Mimi!!!

 Allison got to meet Dane!
 Mimi and Dane were buddies!
Madeline loved Addison's special princess chair from Grandpa Cesta.
Loving her dolls from Disney!  They are super cute!

We wish we could head back to Cali tomorrow!

Cali Videos

We had a great time in Cali!!!  Maddie and Addie had a dance day and were too cute getting ready and dancing on the "stage."  I really wish I took videos of them dancing.
It was wonderful seeing Grandma, Uncle BC, Tami, Kaylee and Kassie.  Maddie decided that she wanted to play with Uncle Billy and Matt had to break out the video camera and give him a bit of a hard time.  Uncle Billy was a great play mate! :)

Our New Space!

Our 2+ week project is complete and we are very happy with it!  We have been working like crazy, but is is almost complete!  Yay!  More sleep for us...hopefully!

Maddie wasted no time bringing her toys down into the basement.
Grandma and Grandpa Welke helped us arrange the furniture and dust things off.  THANKS!
Mads loves playing down there!

Happy St. Patty's/Daddy's Birthday!

We got to go out for a bit on Saturday while the gp's watched the kids!  We had a great time!  Thanks Gma and Gpa Welke!

Mads wore this shirt 2 years ago!
The birthday boy and his two precious gifts!  We got him a new electric razor and Maddie told him a couple of days before his birthday.  We were eating breakfast and he told me he was almost out of razor blades.  Maddie chimed in, "We got you a razor in a red box!"  I started laughing.  Matt was on to our gift! :)

Waving bye at the door, something we do most mornings when daddy leaves for work!
A birthday dinner at Jason's Deli.  We walked there as it was nice outside!  We had some ice cream for dessert and Maddie asked where the birthday cake was?!!
Walking home, the moon was in and out of the clouds.  She loves looking for the moon, so daddy is holding her up to get a good look.
This is what Matt woke up to. I have been pulling out things to go back to Cali for Ava.  This one year old party hat was one of the things I had packed away. Well, guess who found it and wanted daddy to wear it on his birthday?!!

Maddie and Daddy on Ski's!

We headed to Wilmot Moutain last Saturday and had a great time!  Matt was very anxious to get little Miss Mads on ski's.  It was really cute to see the two of them getting all ready and excited for this experience.  Dane and I spent some time together in the lodge and he was great as usual.  He just loves to be held and watch everything going on around him.  Maddie loved it and we look forward to many ski trips in the future.

M-A-D-E-L-I-M-E

Maddie can almost spell her name!

Valentine's Day!

Maddie enjoyed making Valentine's this year.  She especially loves the glitter glue!  In her hand she is holding her "little Maddie."  She absolutely loves her and the rest of "the family".  They often go for rides in the car to Cost Co and Target.  The family is definitely one of her favorite things to play with.

Mads and Dane got a lot of fun things from their grandparents.  Our little ones are so loved!
Madeline was showing Dane how the snow globes work!
Madeline picked her bow and enjoyed some heart pankcakes for breakfast.
Madeline made some chocolate pretzels for her daddy for Valentine's day.  She was stuffing them into her mouth as this picture was taken.  While making them, she could not stop licking her fingers.  I told her time and time again and it became comical.  That girl loves her chocolate...I wonder who she gets that from?!!! :)
Mads loved her fuzzy heart shirt from the Cesta family!  Dane got a super cute book!  Thanks you guys! :)

My little guys looks so cute, but chunky in pictures!  He really doesn't have a double chin in person! :)

Matt brought home flowers for Maddie and me.  Maddie's response, "I like the little white ones" (the baby's breath)!   Her flowers lasted a long time and I got rid of them on Sunday.  Of course she noticed that they were gone and wanted to know where they went.  She really enjoyed having her own flowers and had to let daddy know that.
